Personal Wine Advisor

In the Personal Wine Advisor role you will enjoy talking about wine and sharing your wine knowledge with wine consumers. You’ll get the chance to speak to the best wine consumers about which wines they enjoy and provide them with access to wines that they’ll love. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and building a long-term personal relationship with the best wine consumers
  • Working with a developed, active, and loyal customer base, representing national brands
  • Improving the satisfaction and sales of the best customers
  • Engaging consumers using our proven methods that will help you succeed
  • Verbally communicating products and services clearly and concisely
  • Conveying knowledge of wine brands and retailers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Listening to consumer feedback and providing summary information to our Management Team
  • Providing reporting to our Management Team on retailer sales, consumer satisfaction & results
  • Deliver strong sales results and work to specific KPI’s, both individually and as a team
  • Efficiently & effectively maintaining your own customer accounts to best serve their wine needs

  • Results-orientation, confident, self-motivated individual with the ability to work well on your own
  • Passion, interest and curiosity for all things wine related
  • Positive, solution oriented, proactive person with an energetic can-do attitude

Education, Work Experience and Computer Skills:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in consumer sales, retail sales or restaurant experience
  • Wine knowledge or WSET qualification is preferred
  • Experienced MS Office Suite user (primarily Outlook, Word and Excel)
